Norway Attack, why did he do that?

The Norway police resulted that the suspsect did not had any background terrorists behind him. It was all his work done by himself. The two psychiatrists said that due to playing violent online games, the suspsect have lost distinguishing between reality and imagination. Thus, they are going to check his mental afterwards.

                The tragic happened last week that a man killed over 70 people. After he was caught, he insisted that he was trying to send a message to Europe about recent changes. He was antifeminist and was saying that Europe is going in a wrong direction because of growth of women power. He also added that the men should be more powerful like they did in the past.

                For my opinion, his mental was affected by many of on-line games which made him to lose self controlling. It did happened similar accidents in few years ago in America, a Korean-American man was addicted to on-line shooting game and he put the same act to the real world.  I think this caseis similar to that because there was a proof that a suspect from Norway attack had an evidence that he was once addicted to those games.

                In addition, he wasn’t sure about his saying and was keep fixing his insists. Therefore, even though a person did a crime, I think an on-line game is more dangerous to cause more negative damage to the world.

Park, wins 400 freestyle titles at world championships

                Park Tae-Hwan completely revived from 400m men freestyle on Sunday.  He had to compete with his rivals, such as Biedermann, Vanderkay, Sun Yang, and Cochrane. The competition was held in Shanghai, China, which was really difficult to play especially for Park. It is because many Chinese fans were focusing the rival match between Park and Sun Yang.

                A lot of Chinese people might have think that Sun Yang will win the game. In this season, Sun’s recorded was faster than anybody else and also it was his home place, so other contestants had some difficulties.  What many swimming fans were focusing was about Park’s condition. He once had a slump and he was in a period of recovering it.

                Nobody was sure about Park’s condition; so many experts predicted that either Biedermann or Sun Yang will win the title. However, the result came out different. Park came at first and also he showed many people again that he is still the champion.

                It was really shocking to see Korean winning the title and besides, it was even more surprising that he proved it many viewers that he is not dead. Because of Park’s revive, the London Olympic in next year came brighter than before.  It will going to be more exciting and intense for fans to watch.

Transplating Surgery of Both Legs in Spain

          Is it really possible to transplant real legs? I do not think the dream is too far. Recently, Spain tried this surgery to a man by putting real legs instead of artificial legs. 

          According to El Mundo, unknown man donated his leg to the patient. The surgery was done in the hospital call La Fe and it took more than a day to finish it.  It was a big surgery because they had to connect bones, muscles, and nerve cells.

         Pedro Cavadas, a miracle man, led the medical team. He hasn’t done this kind of operation before so it went very safely. The medical team is expecting that the result will come out in few weeks, but they are not sure about whether he could walk again or not.

         A man who received both legs had a serious accident and he couldn’t even use the artificial legs. Because his state was too awful, he couldn’t use anything but a wheelchair. 3

         If the result comes positive, then it would be good news to many people having similar problems. The medical team injected immune medicine in order to avoid rejection between nerve cells and muscles.

Ryugyoung hotel finally under construction.

             Ryugyong hotel finally restarted to finish the construction. The building now came out with its outlook and they need to invest more time to finish constructing thoroughly. Ryugyong hotel is in North Korea and the purpose of making the hotewas to celebrate Kim Il-Sung’s the age of eighty birthday. They started in 1987 with an architecture company in France, however, because of lack of money in North Korea, they suddenly stopped constructing it little by little. Later on, in 1992, the whole program of making the hotel stopped.  

             The building has 105 floors which is about 1,080 feet tall. The appearance of the hotel is like pyramids in Egypt. It has 1,311 rooms, 990 offices, 40 restaurants, banquet hall, and conference room. They also have hosipital inside for many guests could use it conveniently.

             Many countries around the world including the United States made fun of the hotel naming that the building is the biggest waste on earth.  It was just staying in Pyongyang without anyone touching it for like 16 years. However, in 2008, Orascom Group of Egypt resumed the construction.  It is almost done now and they are estimating that the whole program will finish in 2012.

              In my opinion, what North Korea is doing is such stupidity. It is because what they are investing their money is suppose to be given to many poor nations. Even though the head Kim Jung-Il is insisting that the hotel would raise their economy, they first should focus more to their people.  What I’m concerning is that what if they fail then do they  have another plan to cover their failure? I think the hotel is just a tool to show the power of Kim to many other countries.

Yao Ming finally decided to end his career. He was one of the greatest and sensational Centers in NBA history. His debut in NBA was a huge impact to a lot of fans. He was drafted to Houston Rockets as number 1 pick in 2002. He wasn’t the first Asian basketball player playing in NBA; however, he was the first player who had the most records.

The beginning of his career in NBA was successful. He played just right what Rockets were asking him to do. The great teamwork with Steve Francis and Cutino Mobley draw them to NBA playoffs.  After Hakeem Olajuwon, Rockets did not have a center who could replace his position. Even though Yao Ming isn’t really as strong as Olajuwon, but he was still enough to make Houston stay safe.

However, his injury caught his career. When Yao showed his best moves at the end of 20’s of his age, he got injured. After recovering from the tragic, he couldn’t stand on it because he was keep repeating injuries again. He was out of the whole season in few years ago and he only played only 5 games of this season. He really wanted to come back healthy, but his body had no future.

The reason why people were shocked about his retire is because he was the Asian player many people really loved. Also, he could’ve been the next NBA trend of center in the history. It caught peoples’ eye when he was almost making the rival composition with Shaq. There was nobody else who could compete with O’Neal at that period except Yao. In addition, when Dwight Howard came to NBA, many people were excited to see Yao Ming facing the next symbol of American center.  However, these were all disappeared in dreams.

Many fans were really willing to see Yao Ming’s comeback. He is only 31 this year, and he still got a lot to show. Unfortunately, 5 games of this season were his last appearances. However, he was the Asian’s pride and he showed the world that Asians could also play in NBA. He gave hope to many people, and he made people happy. Yao is now gone and maybe there would be another Yao waiting for us.

Russian boat in trouble before fatal sinking

            Russian boat sank on a river east of Moscow for overcrowded passengers. The boat ‘Bulgaria’ is very famous river cruise boat for many Russians. It was licensed to carry 120 people, however, it was carrying 208 people, including many children and adults.

            The governement reported that they now rescued over 80 people but they are estimating more than 100 passengers are dead inside the ship. To earn more money, they did such action that they are not suppose to do it.

            The survivor reported to the media that the ship leaned to one side and made a turn.in addition, it sank within about eight minutes added by the survivor.

            Russian news agencies are predicting that the key reason of the tragic is from 50 children gathered in a playground of the ship at all together. The cruise couldn’t handle the weight, so it went over. Also, another reason was that the ship was created in 1955, which was really old version compare to other ships today, couldn’t stand many people. Even more surprising, there are 1,568 boats registered in Russia, and more than 100 boats are as old or older than Bulgaria.

President Dmitry Medvedev demanded to fully investigate the cause of the problem. Besides, Russian police started to look for any attacks from terrorists.

The charge of the case directly goes to the company owning the ship. It was their fault for not checking the condition of the boat. Even though they started to check other old boats, Russian worldwide image become hilarious.

Chestnut put himself to the top hot dog eater.

             Chestnut retains the title of hot dog eating contest. It was held in Brooklynn,New York,with 17 contestants. He ate 62 hot dogs in 10 minutes which sounds really reckless. Actually, Chestnut is not the best food eater around the world. The best food fighter isTakeru Kobayashi. He has been banned from  the league due to a contract problem. However, he joined this time playing afar from Chestnut. Chestnut couldn’t reach the record 69, but still his 62 record monopolized other contestants.

             After the match, Kobayashi gained 18 pounds. He lost to Chestnut but he looked with confidence because he told the mass that he already beat the world record unofficially. However, his record was just unofficial, the title was layed to Chestnut.  Kobayashi just joined the contest that he is still good to play to show people.

            When the reporter asked Chestnut about the record that Kobayashi made unofficially, he did not care about the matter. The point was that Chestnut played with Kobayashi and finally he earned a title. He added that he also could break the record at his house. Chestnut awarded $10,000 with the contest’s mustard belt.

             In my opinion, it would be more exciting to see Kobayashi facing Chestnut with better condition, but what Chestnut showed to the crowds was still amazing. No matter what happens to these two people, the next year hot dog contest will be really enjoyable to see.

Novak Djokovic wins Wimbledon title

               Djokovic beat Nadal on Sunday’s Wimbledon match, who was unbeatable opponent for him to face. After Roger Federer’s aging, Nadal went on top of Federer and became the world champion. Many people thought Federer’s era will continue forever, but he couldn’t get rid of his age. Nadal grew stronger and stronger as years passed. However, the situation changed for one man; Novak Djokovic.

                When Federer’s era collapsed, Nadal first got a chance to become the leader.  He was good and strong that nobody could compete with him. He was the only man who can face Federer with balance. However, Nadal was a little bit short to replace Federer. He does not have much impact to dominant players like him. His ranking was the first, but many fans did not cheered for him as they did to Federer. His image was still like a man who stole number 1 from him.

                Contrastingly, when Nadal lost to Novak Djokovic, a lot of mass medias were viewing the scene with interest. Normally, Djokovic was a player with ability, but not enough to surprise people. However, his moves what we saw at Wimbledon was totally different.  Nadal was always weak at clay court, but Wimbledon was grass court. It was obvious for many people to predict that Nadal will win. Yet, Novak Djokovic proved many of tennis fans that they are wrong. He easily beat Nadal with 3-1 in the end.

                It is hard to conclude that Djokovic now can win Nadal. However, many people saw him playing better than he did before. What is even more surprising is that he defeated Nadal from grass court which means Nadal could also play better than when he plays on clay. Both players are still young  and has many years to improve, but I would say that if Djokovic continues what he did from Sunday, he will definitely become the next Roger Federeror even more.

Twenty years old Korean army killed himself

        All Korean men must go to the army no matter what happenes to them. The only exception is bad health because it could cause serious problem such as death after joining the troops. To avoid that, all armies forbid men who are weak. It’s a very sensitive issue to talk about Korean army. Diverse problems happen every year like desertion, suicide, and corruption. Unfortunately, the tragedy of suicide happened again.

        On June 30,2011, a private got shot and died at night who was only 20 years old. His senior soldier was securing on the opposite side of the area, so he couldn’t stop him suiciding. The troops were surprised of hearing the gun shot. They were in emergency because they thought small amount of group of North Koreans might have invaded. After realizing what was happned, they found the dead body of a private. Many people insisted that a senior soldier might have done the crime, but right now the case got judged as suicide in a moment.

        What is interesting is that this might sound shocking to a lot of people from other countries. However, it happenes very frequently in Korea, and there are many armies trying to do it in action still today. They are usually my age around twenties. The armies does not have enough services of mental counceling program, therefore, it  leads many young men to death. In my opinion, in order to avoid such tragic like this, conversation between peers is necessary . Then it will be better for the young men to stay healthier.

        Most of my friends already joined the army, so I asked them about the circumstances. What I heard was really irritating and surprising. They do not have much equipments to support their armies to stay mentally and physically healthy. Many men are in depressive disorder which needs someone to talk about their sorrow. However, they mostly ignore their problems and let them just stay as it is.

        This all problems of Korean armies lead to one thing; money. Because Koreans are not as rich as developed country, it is quite difficult to satisfy every specific problems of it. However, they are not going there to have fun. They are sacrifying their time, surroundings, and even themselves. Although the government does not have enough money to support, life of a person is more important than anything. It cannot be priced as products like in Costco or Walmart.

          Recently, Korea is facing a lot of problems in the metro. Even though they really have convenient services for every passengers to go safely, there are some people with bad manners. There are plenty of videos of people such as making loud noises in the subway,taking sexual harassment pictures of women, and fighting with people next to each other. What I want to talk about is the clip which is dominating all over Korean contents with a name “Roughly Speaking Man.”
         The situation happened when the old man asked the young man to move his feet because it was keep kicking his pants. Somehow the young guy got angry and he stood up to have words with the old man. A guy about around twenties were trying to grab and fight with him who was more than eighty years old. He was shouting and yelling at him to go outside together to go to the police station. We can see that some people ran out of the situation and others were asking the young guy to stop but did not.
         This short video spreaded everywhere in Korea and is at the top rank of any web-sites so that many people could watch. Many netizens were shocked after watching the video and left their thoughts about the clip. Because Koreans care a lot about repecting old people and think it’s their duty, it was hard to understand what the young man did.
        Moreover, the situation didn’t end like this. Some netizens searched the young guy’s privacy and spreaded everywhere to make everyone to see. His own blog is now dominated with bad comments and attacks. It was rude to see a man fighting with an old man with impolite manner. However, it is even worse to circulate other person’s private records. Therefore, it blew up to a bigger case than before.
        For me it was difficult to see until the end. Also thought it was the young guy’s fault for having really bad words and manner to an old guy. It looked uneducated to me. He ignored how to repect the old people that he definitely have learned in school(Morality is a subject for all Koreans to learn). In addition, what netizen did was really disappointing. They shouldn’t do such thing like that. It showed very low-conscious of Korean citizen. Therefore, it was a chance to rethink of everyone’s morality about how to deal with people nicely.
